BROWN BEAR ANIMALS FOR YOUNGER STUDENTS

Summary:

Little ones can recreate animals from the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

What You Need:

Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See by Bill, Jr. Martin & Eric Carle
•Bulletin Board Paper
•Fingerpaint
•Crayons/markers
•Collage materials
•Tempera paint
•Sponges
•Q-tips ®
•Brushes

What You Do:
  1. Make a large animal shape (x 2) representing one of the animals from Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See by Bill, Jr. Martin & Eric Carle

  2. Have the children cooperatively work together to recreate that animal: blue horse, purple cat, green frog, etc;.

  3. Once dry, staple and stuff with newspaper. Hang from ceiling (if appropriate) or display on a bulletin board. If displaying on a bulletin board, this becomes an interactive Big Big Book/Story.
