PAINTED SAND

Sand
Powdered Tempera Paint
Bowls or dishes (empty yogurt containers are great).
Popsicle stick or something else to stir with.

Pour some sand into an empty container. Choose a colour of powdered tempera and add some to the sand. You will have to mix the sand and the tempera to see how little or how much tempera you need. For more vibrant colours add more tempera. Create a wonderful work of sand art.
