What You Need:

• Coffee Filters
• CrayolaŽ Markers
• Green Construction Paper
• Scissors
• Pipe Cleaners
• Newspapers
• Spray bottle with clear water
• Glue

What You Do:

1. Each child takes one filter and colors brightly with markers.
2. Any design may be used, more vibrant colors work well.
3. After coloring completed, place filter on a newspaper, spray water directly onto filter.
4. Have children watch the colors mix.
5. When filter is dry, scrunch the middle of flower up and wrap pipe cleaner around it to make a stem.
6. Cut out flower petals from construction paper and apply to pipe cleaner with Elmer's glue.
