• Colored construction paper or any other paper that has color to it. (wrapping paper, old greeting cards, etc.)
• A large sheet of cardboard (either one big piece between many children or smaller pieces for each child.)
• Dishes for glue or paste. (styrofoam meat trays are great).
• Glue or paste.
• A covered work area.

WHAT YOU DO:

• Tear apart many different peices (strips, squares, many shapes and sizes) of colored paper. Your children can help you rip and tear the paper.
• Pile all of the paper pieces in the middle of the floor.
• Let the kinder artists pick up bits of paper, dip them into the glue or paste and glue them down to the cardboard.
• Be sure to provide each child with a dish of paste.
• Put the finished works on display.
