PAPER DOLLS

Submitted by: Lisa, an art educator at Rainbow Daycare in New Bedford MASS.

Objectives:

To teach hand-eye coordination and matching skills.

What You Need:

  • Paper dolls
  • Various paper doll clothing
  • Velcro strips
  • Scissors
  • Laminating paper

What You Do:

  1. Laminate the dolls and the clothing.

  2. Cut each item out.

  3. Cut velcro into strips.

  4. Place velcro onto the dolls where clothing will go and place the opposite textured velcro on the clothing.

  5. Enjoy.

I have 3 thru 9 year olds at my center and they all enjoy this fun activity. I keep the pieces in a shoe box accessible to the children ... they love it!
