PIGGIES AFTER OUR SNACK
Submitted by: Ann Dew, a teacher at the Academy of St. George.
Objectives:
Learning to follow instructions.
What You Need:
- Small drinking cup
- Pink construction paper
- Glue
- Something to cut with
- White paper
- Black paper
- A hole puncher
What You Do:
- Use one of the cups to trace a circle from the top. (for each child)
- Then cut out two triangles -ears (")
- As well as 4 thin rectangles
- Cut a small triangle out of one end of the Rectangle--legs
- Out of the white cut 2 ovals for eyes
- Out of the Black paper use your hole
puncher to punch two small circles for
the inner eye
- A tail is optional
- Glue the face together and let dry you may draw a mouth or have the kids do this depending on the age.
- Then glue the face to one edge of the top of the cup.
- After this has dried glue the legs to the opposite.side of the cup.
- You may glue a tail on the end if you wish.
****You can have the children save their cups from lunch or snack and use them to save one material cost.*******
