PRINGLEŽ CAN ART ACTIVITY
Submitted by: Peg Wartell, an art educator from Bolingbrook Park District in Naperville Illinois.
Objectives:
Building fine motor skills, experiencing sound and having fun.
What You Need:
- 1 empty pringleŽ potatochip can with lid
- paper cut to fit inside can
- marbles
- 3 colors of paint
What You Do:
- place marbles in 3 shallow pans of paint (suggestion: red, yellow, blue
- child gently rolls paper and places in can
- add marbles one by one
- place the lid on top of the can
- roll and gently shake back and forth
- beautiful marble painting with a twist!
