Promotes creativity and color awareness.

What You Need:

  • light corn syrup
  • tag board

  • Q-tips
  • paint brush

What You Do:

  1. Allow the child to spread a generous amount of corn syrup onto the tagboard using a paint brush.

  2. Next, let him/her squeeze a few drops of two different colors of food coloring onto the paper.

  3. Note: use two colors that will mix to make another like red and blue or yellow and blue, etc.

  4. Give the child a few Q-tips and let him/her mix the colors around with the corn syrup.

  5. The result will be a very glossy, shiny picture.
