Objectives:
Space and color recognition.
What You Need:
tissue paper squares (multi-colors - make sure it is not non-bleeding tissue)
small paint brushes
white paper
water in a small cup (about half full)
What You Do:
Have the children place the tissue paper on white paper. Encourage them to overlap the tissue paper if they wish.
Next, have them paint over the tissue paper with water (using the brush).
When the entire paper is covered, let it dry, remove the tissue paper and display the beautiful art work.
Note: Be sure the tissue paper you are using has been designed to bleed when wet.
