Get inspired by the Where’s Waldo character as you and your students create this bulletin board specific to your school.

By Paula Schinski [Paula teaches at Midland School, in Paramus, NJ]

What You Need:

  • Construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pencils, markers, crayons

What You Do:

I saw this in Arts and Activities magazine and decided to make it an all-school project and a surprise for our principal.

The students loved planning the surprise and all being part of the scheme.

I had each student in every class do a full figure self portrait.

I then did renderings of the office staff which included our Principal Ms. Lynch, and of course, Waldo.

Our title was: “Forget Waldo, Where’s Ms. Lynch?”

The board was a huge success, students loved stopping by and finding themselves and of course Ms. Lynch.
