Craft sticks and glue are all you need to create this unique picture frame.

What You Need:
- 9″ x 12″ white paper
- Popsicle® sticks
- glue
- crayons
- scissors
What You Do:
I have my talented art students teach a lesson each March for Youth Art Month. This year my 4th grade student, Ryan Hecker, created a really neat plan. You make a picture frame on paper and then draw a picture inside of it. They really turned out very nicely!
- Students need 8 Popsicle® sticks, 2 for each side, then they will glue them to their paper in a square shape to create the frame. Next, they will draw a picture of their choice in the frame.
- They may also color on the Popsicle® sticks to color the frame.
- When they have drawn their picture they will cut the excess away from around their picture frame and they have a complete picture in a frame!
It is so easy and the results are so neat! I hope you enjoy it!
