Create a fireplace inspired by the fireplace in a Grandma Moses painting.
Anna Mary Robertson – better known as Grandma Moses, lived to be 101 years old and created over 1600 works of art. What makes this all the more remarkable is the fact that Anna didn’t begin painting until she was nearly 80 years old!
What You Need:
- Construction paper (white – 9″ x 12″, brown or red – 6″ x 9″ and assorted color scraps)
- Pencils
- Black markers
- Crayons, colored pencils or markers
- Scissors and glue
- Red, yellow and orange tissue paper
