Easter Bonnet Craft

Make paper Easter bonnets.

Kids can make colorful Easter hats using paper, yarn and glue.

What You Need:

  • paper plate
  • construction paper
  • ribbon/heavy yarn
  • crepe paper, tissue paper, stickers, glitter, etc.
  • glue
  • tape
  • scissors

What You Do:

Punch holes in the paper plate and run yarn through, so that you can tie your hat onto your head.

You might wish to create the top of a hat by rolling a piece of construction paper into a cylinder and gluing (or taping) it together and then attaching it to the paper plate. This will give the hat dimension.

Add colorful bits of tissue paper, crepe paper, stickers, glitter etc. to the hat.
