Kids can make this snowflake ornament with beads and pipe cleaners (chenille stems). Then they can make a bauble ornament!

What You Need:
- Pipe cleaners (3)
- Beads – different sizes
- Scissors
- Ribbon
What You Do:
THE SNOWFLAKE
Gather 3 pipe cleaners (chenille stems).
Twist 2 pipe cleaners (chenille stems) together at the centre.
Twist in a third pipe cleaner (chenille stem), to make a star.
Start adding beads – trying to stay even on all sides with your sizes. (ie: if you put three small beads on one end, put three small beads on all ends). Keep going until you have only about an inch of pipe cleaner showing at each end.
Twist the ends into loops so that the beads don’t fall off. Add a ribbon to hang your ornament from the tree.
THE BAUBLE
To turn the snowflake into a bauble, don’t loop the ends (or unloop them if you’ve already gone that far). Then, push the ends through a large bead.
Twist the ends into a loop, add a ribbon to the loop and voila!
